John Carpenter returning to Halloween Original director plans to take the series back to its roots as a producer
John Carpenter, writer and director of the original 1978 film Halloween, will return to the series after 30 years. He will act as executive producer in the next film of the franchise, in partnership with Blumhouse Productions and Mixamax Films.
